To register for an event, go to “Events” and click on the day you're interested in.
Come Away Days are being offered at no cost. (This means we are not providing lunch, so we encourage you to bring something with you to the day if you are not fasting). A donation will be taken for those who are able to help with the cost of the day, with any extra going towards ?The Leadership Institute's Global Initiative Fund, enabling us to extend this ministry to Christian leaders around the world.
"Come Away" Day Retreats meet at local retreat centers, retreat houses or other locations chosen for their quiet setting, natural beauty and geographic nearness to participants.
In the hurry and rush of our lives today, we need unhurried time and uncluttered space to come away into the presence of Christ to hear His voice, enjoy His friendship and deepen our response of trust, love and walking with Him. We need these times to remember who He is and who we are in Him. We need to learn to listen to Him, not only for our own lives, but also so that we grow in compassion for those among whom God has placed us.
The flow of a "Come Away" day retreat includes worship, scripture reflection, sharing in spiritual community, instruction and direction from a retreat mentor, an extended time with God in solitude, silence and prayer, and debriefing in community at the end of the day.
What To Bring
A Bible, journal, pencil, sunscreen, a lawn chair (just in case) and anything else that helps you enjoy time alone with the Lord. Dress comfortably and casually for time outdoors. Bring your own lunch. We are not providing food on these days.
