As you read in last week’s email report from the Journey Nigeria, lives are being transformed through this leadership development process.
“Many people feel insecure, and people are asking questions which leaders, both spiritual and secular, do not seem to have answers to. ?This is the point where the Journey Nigeria has greatly impacted participants. ?Time with God gives reassurance to these leaders. They are refreshed and encouraged to continue with ministry even in the face of danger at times. ?The Journey Nigeria has challenged leaders to pursue authentic spirituality that translates into meeting every day life as people listening to God."
The impact of this two-year process extends to many in this nation, as Journey Nigeria participants are guiding others into the richness of an abiding life with our Lord.? In fact, the director for the Journey Nigeria has estimated that the 30 participating leaders are ministering to more than 8,000 people.
With the tremendous opportunity to reach so many in this nation, the director in Nigeria is urgently asking The Leadership Institute to provide mentoring to a core group of leaders.? This core group in the Journey Nigeria are themselves mentoring other leaders who are making a difference in the lives of thousands.
We are very much looking forward to responding. Your help, however, is needed to make this possible.? Would you consider being part of the spiritual formation of Christian leaders and those they minister to in Nigeria?
Right now, $8,000 is needed to cover basic expenses (including travel and cost of living) to allow The Leadership Institute to meet this request for mentoring.? Keeping in mind the recent estimate of more than 8,000 people under the care of leaders in the Journey Nigeria, this works out to about one dollar to impact the life of a person in this nation.
This means your gift of $10 would have the potential to impact the lives of 10 people; $35 would potentially help 35 people grow spiritually.? Or might you even consider a gift of $50 or more?? Any amount would do so much to help leaders in Nigeria and the people they care for grow in the abiding life of the Kingdom.
Thank you for your prayerful consideration.
Blessings,
