This January, I (Alan) had the privilege of leading a weekend retreat for a group of 30 church leaders from Iglesia Cristiana in the Dominican Republic.? One of the pastors of Iglesia Cristiana shared that the weekend was “very, very, very powerful for our leaders.”
At this fifth retreat for the Journey Gen 1, I was blessed to be a part of the growing momentum in life and ministry transformation among those who have faithfully been engaging in this two-year process.
I also had an opportunity to meet with the Gen 1 Core Group who will lead a Generation 2 as well as give leadership to a continuing Gen 1 community.? This Core Group is looking to provide one or two day retreats to Gen 2 prospects so that they may "taste and see" the rich benefits of solitude and community.
The faithful prayers and support of ministry partners like you are doing so much to make this possible.? Christian leaders in the Dominican Republic as well as other nations are encountering the transforming grace of the Kingdom in very powerful ways.? Now, doors are open to reach many more leaders.
Would you prayerfully consider a gift to help pastors and other Christian leaders around the world taste and see?? Integral to reaching leaders in other nations, is the Leadership Institute's mentorship.?? While phone conversations and email correspondence are beneficial, face-to-face meetings are a vital element.
Your gift to the Leadership Institute's?Global Initiative Fund?will go toward covering travel and other related expenses - helping Christian leaders, as well as the men and women under their care, grow in the richness of the abiding life.
Thank you for your prayerful consideration.
Blessings,
Paul Jensen & Alan Fadling
