Isaiah 40:28-29
Have you never heard?
????? Have you never understood?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
????? The Creator of all the earth
He never grows weak or weary.
????? No one can measure the depths of his understanding.
He gives power to the weak
????? And strength to the powerless.
A prayer: I am often weak. You are never weak. And you are in me to give me power when I?m weak. Of course I have heard this, but I have often failed to understand. And where my understanding comes up short, yours is immeasurable. As I engage my work in this week, I will look to your power when I feel tired and weak. I will look to your strength when I feel powerless. Thank you for your power that is greater than my powerlessness, and your strength that is greater than my weakness.
