Welcome! I?m glad you?re here. I’m Alan Fadling and I serve as Executive Director of The Leadership Institute.?Some of you are alumni of the Journey from nearly thirty generations (including our international Journey groups) over the last twenty years. Others of you are more recent friends. Some of you have found your way here from my personal blog, Notes from An Unhurried Life. I will be moving most of my blogging here from now on. I?m excited about the community of staff and alumni who will also be posting here in the future. They represent decades of cumulative?experience in integrating spiritual formation and leadership development. I?m excited for you to get to know them through their posts.
This blog will be another expression of our ministry vision, which is to inspire generations of leaders who listen to God, follow Jesus?s rhythms of life and extend His kingdom out of the overflow of their intimacy with God. This is what gets our hearts pumping. This is what we are working towards with everything in us.

May you sense the immense resolve of Jesus to enable and empower you to become all that He has meant for you to be as a person to extends his kingdom to others.
